NTTF Burma Mines Tata Steel Technical Institute (TSTI) Burmamines, established in the year 2014, is a joint venture of Tata Steel Skill Development Society (TSSDS) & NTTF M. S.

NTTF is a Premier Technical Institution Started in 1959 (a not for profit organisation), PAN India. NTTF provides 6 core technical Diploma (tool and die making, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer engineering and cloud, Information technology), Post Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma and Postgraduate programs. NTTF works closely with industries and offer a unique program called "Learn and Earn". Also,

lot of companies utilising as part of CSR programmes leverage NTTF’s skill building expertise. We also offer hands on skill development as part of government programmes in 50 trades. All our NTTF core programs are employability focussed and highly industry aligned curriculums. NTTF is governed by a Board consisting of leading industrialists. Presently stewardship of the Board is with Mr. Ramanujam, Chairman, Brakes India Ltd and Dr. N. Reguraj, Managing Director, NTTF. All NTTF programs and related curriculum are updated and revamped under a team of eminent personalities representing academia and industry. Currently the Academic Council is headed by Mr. Varadan. Foundation activities are managed by Leadership Team of Dr. N. Reguraj, Managing Director, NTTF, Mr. R Rajagopalan Joint Managing Director, Mr. B V Sudharshan, Deputy managing director, Mr. Christopher K Raj Director, Mr. N Arulselvan, Member Advisory Council, Mr. K Venugopal, Member Advisory Council. NTTF was established in the year 1963 the living symbol of Indo Swiss co-operation; aimed at promoting purposeful Technical Education for the youth of India. The seed was put in place at Thalassery (Kerala), in the year 1959. In its mission, the Foundation was actively supported with generous assistance from the Government of Switzerland, HEKS (a Swiss NGO), and Swiss Development Co-operation (a development agency in Switzerland). Trainee Spotlight: Chitrala Lokeshwar Rao’s Journey with NTTF!

Meet Chitrala Lokeshwar Rao from NTTF Electronic City Centre (NEC), who pursued his passion for practical learning by enrolling in the Mechatronics Engineering & Smart Factory program.

Driven by his interest in automation and robotics, he gained hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary field that combines mechanical, electrical, and electronics engineering. Through lab activities, projects, and industrial visits, he developed real-world skills and learned the importance of teamwork and problem-solving.

His journey at NTTF was shaped by continuous guidance and support from faculty and the placement team, helping him build confidence and industry readiness. Today, he has successfully secured a placement at Delta Electronics with a package of 4.5 LPA.
