The panel on “Global Models, Local Realities: Can India Adapt Sustainability Frameworks Efficiently?” highlighted the need for India to reinterpret global sustainability frameworks through its own economic logic, with a focus on efficiency, MSME realities, and reducing compliance costs. Drawing from her extensive professional experience in the insurance industry, she shared valuable perspectives on the rapidly evolving landscape of insurance, including changing market dynamics, emerging risks, underwriting challenges, risk engineering practices, and the growing role of innovation and adaptability in the sector.

The session provided students with practical industry exposure beyond the classroom, helping them understand the real-world complexities and opportunities shaping the future of insurance and risk management. In a truly meaningful moment, the Lab was inaugurated by students with special abilities, symbolising the spirit of accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunity.

The occasion was graced by NLUJ Kulguru Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Registrar Dr. Sunita Pankaj, and representatives from the Rajiv K. Luthra Foundation, including Ms. Gayatri K. Luthra, Mr. Abhishek Mathur, Senior Partner at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices, and Mr. Ananya Gaur.
