SVNIT Surat brings to you the 19th edition of MindBend this year in October. The most awaited MindBend 2013, annual techno - management fest of SVNIT is on its way to make a difference.

Technical progress has no meaning if it doesn't reach out to the lowest strata of society. To the famished peasant who feeds our belly but finds it difficult to manage two square meals a day. To those slum-dwellers whose misery merits mock applause millions of miles away by an Oscar jury. To those children of a lesser God.

Something needs to be done. Now.

Being the future of the nation, we realize that we have a moral responsibility to impart, towards the society. So keeping that in mind, we have decided to launch MindBend 2013 on a socio - technical theme: "From BHARAT to INDIA, Bridging the gap between urban and rural India". In a nutshell, we intend to solve rural problems by the magic wand of technology.
