आज 31 अक्टूबर है।आज भारत के दो महान हस्तियों का दिन है एक का जन्मदिन है जिसने भारत की आजादी के बाद लगभग 550 देशी रियासतों को भारत मे विलय कराके भारत की सीमा का विस्तार किया और एकीकृत भारत की नींव रखी, उसका नाम है *सरदार बल्लभ भाई पटेल*जो देश के पहले गृह मंत्री और उपप्रधानमंत्री थे।
दूसरी थी *इंदिरा प्रियदर्शनी* जिसका आज पुण्यतिथि है।
जिसने (इंदिरा गांधी) सिक्कम राज्य को भारत मे विलय कराया तथा पाकिस्तान के दो टुकड़े कर दिए।
स्वतंत्र भारत(15 अगस्त 1947)के बाद इन दो के अलावा कोई उपप्रधानमंत्री या प्रधानमंत्री ऐसा नही हुआ जिसने भारत की सीमाओं में 1 इंच का भी विस्तार किया हो और न ही पाकिस्तान को ऐसा सबक सीखा पाया हो।

इसीलिये इस देश के लोग एक को *लौह पुरुष* तो दूसरे को *लौह महिला* के नाम से याद करते है।
नमन,ऐसे भारत माँ के सन्तानो को🙏
