The placement and training cell of the college has organised a number of training sessions, most of which were handled by outsourced expert teams. Axis Bank, among a handful of other employers, has already recruited our students after holding placement drives on our campus. Axis Bank recruited the following students to the post of business executive with a monthly salary of Rs 15000; Kiran Sivadas, Jerry Manoj, Meera Rajeevan, Hari G. Krishnan,, Sreedvei P.R., Vineetha V., Keerthy V. Kumar and Asihwaraya Sreekumar. Goan Institute of Communication also recruited Aishwaraya Sreekumar and Aravind to trainer position with a monthly salary of Rs 17000. IRIS Medical Solutions recruited Chales Devassy as AR Executive with a monthly pay of Rs 8500.

We organised a meeting in the college auditorium to felicitate Yamuna Sathyapalan and others who participated and won prizes in university arts festival. Winners in their talks said that complaining is an attitude of the loser. They exhorted student community to make best use of available resources and facilities during college life.

Yamuna Sathyapalan, of BA English second year, has won the second prize in English short story writing competition in Mahatma Gandhi University youth festival. There were more than seventy other participants. Hers is an incredible achievement. She's a girl with a proven record of excellence. We're proud of her and congratulate her from the bottom of our hearts. The college has secured 37th position among 100 plus colleges.
