পূর্ব বর্ধমানের কালনা শহরের অকালপৌষ পূর্বপাড়া এলাকার ছাত্রী অর্পিতা গড়াই জাতীয় স্তরের নৃত্য প্রতিযোগিতায় সাফল্য অর্জন করে এলাকার মুখ উজ্জ্বল করল। ইউনাইটেড কাউন্সিল অফ মেরিটোরিয়াল আর্টস, যোগা অ্যান্ড পোল স্পোর্টস ফেডারেশনের উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত ‘ন্যাশনাল যোগসেনা অ্যান্ড ডান্স স্পোর্টস মহোৎসব-২০২৬’-এ অংশ নিয়ে ক্লাসিক্যাল ডান্স বিভাগে দ্বিতীয় স্থান অধিকার করেছে অর্পিতা।
গত ১২ থেকে ১৪ জুন, ২০২৬ পর্যন্ত অনুষ্ঠিত এই জাতীয় প্রতিযোগিতায় ১৮ থেকে ২০ বছর বয়স বিভাগে ক্লাসিক্যাল ডান্স ইভেন্টে অংশ নেয় সে। দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে আগত প্রতিযোগীদের সঙ্গে প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা করে অসাধারণ নৃত্য পরিবেশনের মাধ্যমে দ্বিতীয় স্থান অর্জন করে অর্পিতা। এই সাফল্যের সুবাদে আগামী দিনে একটি আন্তর্জাতিক নৃত্য কর্মসূচিতে অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগও পেয়েছে সে। বর্তমানে অর্পিতা তেহাটা সদানন্দ মহাবিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্রী। ছোটবেলা থেকেই নাচের প্রতি তার গভীর আগ্রহ ও নিষ্ঠা ছিল। দীর্ঘদিনের কঠোর অনুশীলন এবং অধ্যবসায়ের ফলস্বরূপ জাতীয় মঞ্চে এই উল্লেখযোগ্য সাফল্য অর্জন করেছে বলে মনে করছেন তার শিক্ষক ও শুভানুধ্যায়ীরা।অর্পিতার প্রাক্তন বিদ্যালয় অকালপৌষ অরবিন্দ প্রকাশ ঘোষ উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক সুমন চৌধুরী বলেন, “অর্পিতার এই সাফল্যে আমরা অত্যন্ত গর্বিত। শুধু নৃত্য নয়, এর আগেও তাইকোন্ডো খেলায় জাতীয় স্তরে অংশগ্রহণ করে সে সাফল্য পেয়েছে। পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে তার এই কৃতিত্ব আমাদের সকলকে আনন্দিত করেছে।”

Tehatta Sadananda Mahavidyalaya proudly celebrated the 12th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation. More than 50 participants, including teachers, non-teaching staff, and students, joined the yoga session and practiced various yogasanas to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
The programme was conducted under the expert guidance of yoga trainers Mr. Amit Nandi and Mr. Subir Ghosh, whose valuable instructions inspired all participants to embrace yoga as a way of life.

আজ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ দিবস উপলক্ষে আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানে যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদায় দিবসটি উদযাপন করা হলো।
১৯৪৭ সালের ২০ জুন বাংলার ইতিহাসে এক ঐতিহাসিক দিন। এই দিনেই অবিভক্ত বাংলার আইনসভায় গৃহীত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সিদ্ধান্তের মাধ্যমে বর্তমান পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের ভিত্তি স্থাপিত হয়।
এই বিশেষ দিনে আমরা স্মরণ করি বাংলার সমৃদ্ধ ঐতিহ্য, সংস্কৃতি, ভাষা ও গৌরবময় ইতিহাসকে। সকলকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ দিবসের আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা।
এই ঐতিহাসিক দিনে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ গঠনের অন্যতম প্রধান রূপকার শ্যামাপ্রসাদ মুখার্জির প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা নিবেদন করা হয়। তাঁর দূরদর্শী নেতৃত্ব ও অবদানের স্মরণে উপস্থিত সকলেই শ্রদ্ধার্ঘ্য অর্পণ করেন। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট ব্যাক্তিত্ব মাননীয় Partha Pratim Tah মহাশয়।
