The Department of Computer Science, B. K. Birla Night Arts, Science and Commerce College, Kalyan successfully conducted Day 3 of Abhyas Mahotsav on 23rd March 2026 at the IT Lab.

The highlight of the day was an insightful session by Mrs. Esmita Gupta (Sr. Vice Principal, CTO & Head Dept. of IT) on the topic “Know Your Self”. The session inspired students to reflect on their strengths, build self-awareness, and focus on personal as well as professional growth.

Students actively engaged in the session, gaining valuable guidance and motivation to shape their future with clarity and confidence.

🌺 मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन – संस्कृती, अभिमान आणि प्रेरणेचा सोहळा 🌺

बी. के. बिर्ला रात्र महाविद्यालय, कल्याण (प.) येथे मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला. या कार्यक्रमास पद्मश्री भिकल्या लाडक्या धिंडा यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती लाभली. त्यांच्या उपस्थितीमुळे सोहळ्याला विशेष प्रेरणादायी स्वरूप प्राप्त झाले.

वारली समाजातील ज्येष्ठ लोककलावंत म्हणून त्यांनी पारंपरिक तारपा वाद्य आणि वारली लोककलेचे जतन करण्यासाठी आयुष्य समर्पित केले आहे. वारली चित्रकला ही आदिवासी संस्कृतीचे प्रतीक असून निसर्ग, शेती, सण-उत्सव आणि सामूहिक जीवनशैली यांचे सुंदर चित्रण करते. तारपा वादन आणि त्यासोबतचे पारंपरिक नृत्य हे वारली संस्कृतीतील ऐक्य आणि आनंदाचे प्रतीक मानले जाते.

धिंडा सरांनी आपल्या संघर्षमय प्रवासातून विद्यार्थ्यांना मातृभाषेचा सन्मान, सांस्कृतिक वारशाचे जतन आणि परंपरेप्रती अभिमान बाळगण्याचा संदेश दिला. हा कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी केवळ सांस्कृतिक नव्हे तर प्रेरणादायी ठरला.
