We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed alumnae—Ms. Geeta Ghai, Owner, Title Designer House; Ms. Isha Mahajan, Social Worker; Ms. Randeep Kaur, Block Coordinator Officer, Water Supply and Sanitation Department; Ms. Neha Dhamija, Company Secretary (PSPCL); and Dr. Isha Manchanda, Lawyer—for gracing the occasion and honouring our student Loveleen Upadhyae, International Taekwondo Player, with the Best Sportsperson Award. The honour was conferred by HKCIAN – The Alumnae Association of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala, during the Sports Day held on February 4, 2026.
In addition, we express our sincere gratitude to Ms. Neha Dhamija for her generous financial aid to the Alumnae Association.

Career Counseling and Placement Cell of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala provided a golden opportunity to it's Final year students of the Commerce and IT department to get themselves enrolled in the Employment Exchange, Kapurthala so that their career prospects could be brightened. Dr. Neetu Bhargava, Convener of the Cell and Er. Inderjeet Kaur Bal took 52 students to the Employment Exchange Office where Dr. Varun Joshi, District Placement Officer explained students the process of getting enrolled via online and offline modes. Principal Dr. Archna Garg applauded the initiative taken by the Cell to guide it's students properly for the future prospects.

*Students of Hindu Kanya College visited ITC Kapurthala*

The Department of Economics and P.G. Department of Commerce and Management at Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organised an Industrial Visit to ITC, Kapurthala on 8th September 2023 to provide an industrial exposure to the students of M.Com.and Economics. Dr. Neetu Bhargava, Head, P.G. Department of Commerce and Management and Dr. Anupam Sabharwal, Head, Department of Economics accompanied the students to this visit. Ms. Kritika, HR, Assistant Manager acquainted the students with the history of the company, the range of it's products and production policies through a Power Point Presentation.
Mr. Sumeet, Senior Manufacturing Executive and Mr. Deepak,a Manufacturing Executive explained the manufacturing process in detail. Principal Dr. Archna Garg applauded the efforts taken by the two departments for the students to provide them the practical knowledge of basic industrial management system.
