Career Development Centre , IIT Kharagpur aims to guide students to think in terms of careers where

IIT Kharagpur has revamped its Training and Placement (TnP) section to Career Development Centre(CDC) which provides 360-degree career solutions to the students. CDC, through its various activities, envisions to ‘Create Game Changer IIT Kgpians’. It has been established with the mission to ‘Make every individual IITian a Career Oriented person instead of a Job Oriented Person’. CDC views all recru

iters as partners in developing careers of students at IIT Kharagpur. It is continuously engaged in building relationships with corporate sectors and building careers of IIT students. Several corporate houses have also shown interest in joining this new career orientation program of IIT Kharagpur. CDC, through its orientation programs, aims to develop professional ethics among the students. It facilitates students to decide and pursue their careers in various sectors, which include core engineering, IT, Financial, Banking, Analytics, Consulting jobs, research and development, academic institutions, etc.

Company : Opening of CV portal for CDC Internship registration _2024-25

All the potential eligible students of compulsory Internship (who will go for internship 2025 summer) are advised to kindly note the followings:

CV Portal in ERP for CV building (for Internship) is being started from 20/06/2024 and will open till 27th June 2024, 11.59 pm

a) You will be provided very short duration, so be alert and follow CDC notice board in ERP to have regular updates.

b) By enrolling in the CDC Internship portal, you are also confirming that, you will go for compulsory internship in the year 2025 from May to Mid-July (as per academic schedule).

c) Please pass this message to your fellow mates who will go for compulsory internship in the year 2025

d) Registration for Internship is must and CDC, IIT Kharagpur is requesting all the students to participate in internship activities with positive spirit.

Placement Committee Member Selection 2024-25.

Please find the advertisement for Placement Committee Member Selection 2024-25.

Interested students (eligibility as per the attached advertisement) are advised to submit the filled Application Form IN–PERSON at CDC (Application Form enclosed).

The applicant should get the application form signed by the Dept In-Charge (T&P) or Head of the Department / Centre / School and submit the same PHYSICALLY at the CDC Office positively by 5.00 pm on 2nd April 2024.

While submitting the application at the CDC office, the applicant should enter their details in a particular Google form available at the CDC office. IT IS MANDATORY.

The student should adhere to the above-mentioned timeline.
