Team STRATOSPHERE, Jadavpur University's aerospace club, designs and builds RC planes, gliders, and drones and also hosts sessions on 3D printing and PCB design. Our next goal is to develop CanSats, miniature satellites simulating real satellite functions.

🚀 Touching the Sky, Fueling Dreams 🇮🇳 | Gaganyaan & India's Next Astronaut

From Rakesh Sharma’s iconic words "Saare Jahan Se Achha" in 1984 to the dawn of a new era in Indian space exploration, we r on the verge of recreating history once again.

Shubhanshu Shukla, an Indian astronaut made history on Wednesday by embarking on a space mission Axiom-4 along with three other astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).

India has successfully launched Axiom, a cutting-edge project designed to test new space technologies and collect critical data to further India's reach into the cosmos. The mission not only marks a major milestone in India's space program but also cements the nation's position as a global leader in space exploration.
Axiom can be seen as part of the wider ecosystem of space exploration, complementing India’s ambitious Gaganyaan mission by fostering technological development and collaboration.

This mission isn’t just about reaching space — it's about showing the world what India’s youth, science, and innovation can achieve.

At Stratosphere – The Aerospace Club of JU, we celebrate the success of Axiom -4 — a mission that carries not just humans, but the hopes of 1.4 billion Indians into the cosmos.
