Round will be held on-site
Timing - 12pm - 2.30 pm (2.5 hours)
Venue - IBM Lab 1, WBUT In-House.

Rules -
1. A team can consist of at most 3 members.
2. Any one member can register for the event (needs to register both online and onsite).
3. All the members need to be present during the event.
4. Each member has to bring a college ID proof.
5. The final ranking is based on the total number of problems solved, ties broken by the total time consumed.
6. The total time is the sum of the time consumed for each solved
problem.
7. The time consumed for a solved problem is the time elapsed from the beginning of the contest to the submission of the first accepted run for that problem (in minutes) plus 20 minutes for every other run for that problem before the accepted one. For an unsolved problem no time consumed is computed.
8. There is no partial credit for any problem.
9. After running a program against our test data, the judge produces a status message.

Tomorrow at 2:00 pm all first, second and third year students interested in Competitive Programming and willing to join the WBUT Code Club are to assemble outside room 317.

Pre-requisites:
1. Knowledge of atleast one programming language among the following- C,C++,Java,Python.
2. Intermediate to advanced mathematical aptitude.
3. Willingness to study beyond WBUT curriculum.
4. Must own a laptop/ personal computer. (Anyone not having a laptop is advised to get hold of one as soon as possible if they are interested in joining).

Codechef Long Challenge August 2015.

With about 3 and a half days left for the contest, here is how the Ranklist looks like :

1. Snehasish Karmakar (snk967) - Currently topping the list with 530 points.
2. Akash Pradeep Jatua (aj619) and Chinmay Raksh*t (deathcoder007) - each with 400 points
3. Sagnik Chatterjee (slytherin) - with 325 points.

Special Mention - Biswajit Kundu (jit_29) - The youngest of all (1st year) scoring 225 points till now, and that to in his first contest.

other than the top 3 there were some users like raja0205, nfraz007, anuj_ladia who did excpetionally well..Also there were some problems with the contest management and I am sorry for the inconvenience. Its not always possible to be the sole moderator and manage everything. Looking forward to someone who will take the responsibility.
