K. Basak Auditorium, Presidency University. Speakers associated with Satyendranath Tagore Civil Services Study Centre will be present in this interactive session.All are welcome.

This is to inform all concerned that the academic activities of Undergraduate Semester-1 for the academic session 2022-2023 will commence on 15th September 2022. All newly admitted students are required to report to the concerned departments for physical verification of documents between 15th September 2022 and 19th September 2022. All students are required to maintain at least 75% attendance during the first month of the semester. Admission is liable to be cancelled for non-reported students and students with low attendance.

Students are required to carry the following documents at the time of reporting:
1) Admission Reporting Slip (with signature)
2) All academic documents with one set of photocopies.
3) Category Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
4) PWD Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
5) Original Blood Group Certificate issued by approved testing Lab/ Hospital
6) Photo ID card with one photocopy
7) Following five affidavits in original on non-judicial stamp paper of value Rs 10/- or above (Notary is not essential)

a) DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT AGAINST RACISM
b) DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT
c) DECLARATION BY PARENT/GUARDIAN AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT
d) AFFIDAVIT BY THE STUDENT ON ANTI-RAGGING e) AFFIDAVIT BY PARENT/GUARDIAN ON ANTI-RAGGING

Online applications are invited from the interested candidates who have passed their Graduation (with Honours / Major) not before 2022 for admission into two-year (four semesters) full-time Post-Graduate Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (MSc) Courses for the session 2022-2023.

This is to notify that the 1st Merit Lists (provisional) for admission to different departments are published in connection with the admission to Under Graduate courses for the session (2022-2023).

The provisionally selected candidates are required to complete the following steps to complete the online admission (provisional) process.
a) The candidates will pay the requisite fees through the SBI Collect portal (Link will be available in Admission Portal (http://14.139.217.88/puadmission2022/)
b) They will log in to the Admission Portal (http://14.139.217.88/puadmission2022/) and will select the subject and category for admission and will proceed.
Candidates who have been placed in both the General merit list and the list of reserved seats for SC/ST/OBCA/OBCB on the basis of their merit in the respective categories are free to exercise their option to choose their admission category. Admission would be made as per the option exercised by the candidates. The option once exercised shall not be altered under any circumstances.
c) They will furnish necessary information and will upload scanned images (in jpeg format, .jpg file)of the following items
i) Passport size recent photograph*
ii) Signature*
iii) the payment receipt
*Not required to replace if the already available file is in good quality
d) Finally they will complete the process and their provisional admission acknowledgement will be generated.
e) The applicants are required to visit the admission portal from time to time to check their admission (provisional) status after the payment verification.

The provisional General Merit Lists based on General Merit Ranks (GMRs) for admission to different departments are published in connection with the admission to Under-Graduate courses for the session (2022-2023).

Steps for admission:
a) Online reporting portal will be available from 12th August 2022 to 16th August 2022(till 12 noon).
b) A call list (first) will be published for reporting purposes.
c) Listed candidates must report in the online portal and upload the necessary documents, photo, and signature for verification purposes.
d) Candidature of the listed candidates will be cancelled if they fail to report within stipulated dates.
e) Submitted data will be verified against the uploaded documents.

Form fillup starts today (18/07/22) and shall continue up to 5th August (12 pm), at http://www.presiuniv.ac.in/web/admission.php

There are no application charges.

One candidate can apply for two subjects.

After online applications end, a merit list shall be prepared via the methodology mentioned in this notice. Admission will take place strictly according to the merit list and online reporting. The list is tentatively stated to be published on 12th August 2022 with reporting taking place from 13th to 16th August 2022.

The GE/AECC registration link for those admitted via the 7th Merit List is open from 7th December to 10th December 2021. The students can also change their AECC/GE course between 11th to 15th December 2021.

All the students should download their AECC/GE registration card between 7th December 2021 and 16th December 2021, save a copy of it with themselves and email another copy to their respective (major) departmental coordinator by 17th December 2021.

Those who have already registered by sending the form through email need not register again.

UG Aspirants please take note:

The seventh merit list for admission to UG courses at Presidency University has been released. The merit list has been prepared considering the reported candidates in the 3rd online reporting (19th to 20th November 2021) and online verification of data against uploaded documents.

UG candidates please take note:

The final call list for reporting on the basis of published GMR has been uploaded on the University website. This is the final (Mop-Up) round for admissions to B.A/B.Sc courses at Presidency University for the academic session 2021-22.

Reporting starts on 19th November (after 5 pm) and ends on 20th November. Candidates who reported earlier need to report again. Those who have not reported in the first or second online reporting are also allowed to report in the second online reporting.

Only the reported candidates (in the final online reporting) will be considered for filling up the seats in the subsequent admission process strictly based on GMR after successful verification of submitted data against the uploaded documents. The already reported candidates are required to only report in the portal without uploading documents (as the files are already available)

Date of Publication of next Merit list (for provisional admission): 24th November 2021

The interested candidates are required to do the following steps to complete the online reporting process (not for those who reported earlier-just login and report)
a) Login into the Admission Portal with your user id and Password
b) Upload images of 10th Marksheet, 12th mark sheet, Category Certificate (if applicable), PWD certificate(if applicable), Photo and Signature

Please note that candidates who have already taken or were selected for admission to Presidency University via merit list 1-6 are not allowed to report for the same subject in this round. Not reported candidates will also not be considered for the admission process.
