TANGKAK, JOHOR — The International Peace Human Rights Education Council (IPHREC) proudly celebrates the success of a meaningful Malaysia–Singapore cross-border educational and environmental programme that brought together students, educators, and communities in the spirit of peace, sustainability, cultural harmony, and international cooperation.

The programme, strongly aligned with the vision and mission of IPHREC, involved participants from Tun Seri Lanang Secondary School and Woodlands Secondary School, focusing on environmental sustainability, educational innovation, youth empowerment, and cultural appreciation between Malaysia and Singapore.

Led by the respected principal (Dr.) Sariman Husin, the IPHREC-supported educational initiative successfully gathered a total of 190 participants, comprising 108 participants from Malaysia and 82 participants from Singapore.

Bridging Borders, Building Futures: IPHREC Leads a Historic Educational Milestone at NCDRC, UPSI

The International Peace Human Rights Education Council continues to expand its global educational vision through another remarkable international initiative, marking a historic day for preschool education in Malaysia. In an inspiring effort to strengthen peace education, international collaboration, and educational innovation, the International Peace Human Rights Education Council conducted an official honor visit to the prestigious National Child Development Research Centre (NCDRC) at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris.

Led by the Director of Education for the International Peace Human Rights Education Council, Prof. Dato' Dr. Santharasekaran Subramaniam, the delegation consisted of 32 enthusiastic preschool students, 10 passionate educators, and supportive parents who were warmly welcomed into the innovative learning ecosystem of Bitara Preschool.

The visit reflected the ongoing mission of the International Peace Human Rights Education Council to promote peace-centered education, global understanding, and human rights awareness from the earliest stages of childhood development. Through this educational engagement, the International Peace Human Rights Education Council once again demonstrated its commitment to empowering educators and young learners through international exposure and collaborative learning experiences.

During the visit, participants were introduced to a range of modern educational methodologies and child-centered teaching approaches practiced at NCDRC. The children, teachers, and parents had the opportunity to observe interactive learning modules, innovative classroom management systems, and creative educational strategies that encourage holistic child development.

The International Peace Human Rights Education Council emphasized the importance of integrating peace education into early childhood learning environments, believing that nurturing values such as compassion, respect, cooperation, and global citizenship at a young age creates stronger and more peaceful societies in the future.

The collaboration between the International Peace Human Rights Education Council and NCDRC also highlighted the growing role of international educational partnerships in strengthening research, innovation, and educational excellence across borders. This meaningful engagement further reinforced the International Peace Human Rights Education Council’s dedication to building bridges between global educational institutions and local learning communities.

A defining moment of the event took place during the prestigious closing ceremony, where the International Peace Human Rights Education Council, under the leadership of Prof. Dato' Dr. Santharasekaran Subramaniam, officially honored NCDRC with recognition from the Amazing Malaysian Book of Records (AMBR).

NCDRC proudly received recognition as:

> “The First Malaysian Preschool to receive honorable recognition from UNESCO.”

This prestigious acknowledgment stands as a powerful symbol of Malaysia’s growing influence in the field of early childhood education and reflects the commitment of the International Peace Human Rights Education Council toward recognizing institutions that contribute significantly to educational advancement, peacebuilding, and international academic excellence.
