We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts, we make the world.

The IMAFF World Federation has been active for 324 years, working for the benefit of martial artists and the scientific improvement of martial arts, and can look back on a historically proven, constructive corporate history. Sports science textbooks on the IMAFF-TAUKUNEDO system and historical travelogues about it have been published worldwide. Therefore, it is always a highlight to collaborate with dedicated martial artists and celebrate successes together. We are delighted to have straightforward and loyal martial artists by our side. Congratulations to all successful martial artists who are not blinded or distracted, but pursue their path with unwavering focus. CEO Kyoshi Prof. Dr. Alberto Marchese, May 10, 2026

A wise Japanese doctor, 105 years old, and his recommendations for a happy life:

1. Feelings of happiness are more beneficial than sleep and food.

Dr. Hinohara writes:

"People don't gain their energy from eating or sleeping, but from having fun.

Remember that as children, when we had fun, we forgot to eat and didn't need sleep at all. It's no different for adults."

The secret to Japanese longevity is moderate food consumption. Meat consumption should be limited; 100 grams twice a week is sufficient, says the doctor.

2. Plan ahead. Fill your notebook with plans for the future. Thoughts are material—when you think about the future, you don't have time to look back on your past and grieve over your problems.

3. Share your knowledge. Shigeaki Hinohara gave at least 150 lectures a year. Each lecture lasted up to an hour and a half, and he spent the entire time standing.

4. Don't hold back! Physical activity doesn't have to take place at the gym. Walking, cycling, taking the stairs instead of the elevator—that's much better than nothing. The couch is your worst enemy; you need to rest actively.

5. Read! Let your own personal book of life inspire you. It should help you find your purpose in life.

6. Redefine your values. In the pursuit of material wealth, people forget what's essential—love, care, and compassion.

A wise man said on this topic: "Remember: No one knows when their time will come. You can't have everything."

7. Find a mentor. Find a role model. Try with all your might to surpass them in the best possible way.

8. A long life is wonderful!

Enjoy life every minute, every moment. May each new day be better than the last. Remember this and help everyone as best you can. There's no need to expect anything in return. Being alive is the ultimate payment.

Learn to write your wounds in the sand and carve your friends in stone, for man is not a product of his past, he is a product of his ability to let go of his past. (Lao Tzu)

(Irischer Segensspruch)

Dear Peter, friend, father, and martial arts instructor, we remember you with honor and respect on your birthday today. "May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back... And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand."
"May God go before you to guide you. May God keep behind you to strengthen your back..."
(Irish blessing)

When the Chinese philosopher and religious founder Confucius was asked by his young emperor what he had to do to put his shattered empire back in order, he answered succinctly: "Restore the meaning of concepts and tolerate no disorder in words."
Als der chinesische Philosoph und
Religionsstifter Konfuzius von seinem
jungen Kaiser gefragt wurde, was er
tun müsse, um sein zerrüttetes Reich
wieder in Ordnung zu bringen,
antwortete er kurz und bündig: "Stelle
die Bedeutung der Begriffe wieder her
und dulde keine Unordnung in den
Worten."

Every day we receive inquiries about membership in our international IMAFF & Taikunedo-TM-Asc.International World Federation. Many budoka want to learn about our progressive budo martial arts system, even though any reasonable person knows that there are no quick explanations for complex budo styles. Our budo system is a way of life, a philosophy that can also be studied online at: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1BQhi8RX1e/?mibextid=wwXIfr. Beforehand, you will need our textbook, which is available as an ebook or paperback on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.de/Die-verschollene-Kampfkunst-Jedermann-Taikunedo/dp/3981881117 in German and English. If you suddenly lose interest, we say quite clearly: don't bother. If even the first step is too difficult for someone, there's no point in climbing the mountain of budo success. Those who constructively walk their path with us will be able to determine their own budo life forever. That is one of our goals among many others. We wish you much success. Your IMAFF® Team.
