The Xavier Society of Law and Justice (XSLAJ), a student run society of Xavier Law School, St. Xavier's University is organizing IGNITAC’25: 2nd Ignatius Trial And Advocacy Competition on a national level.

To-be Legal professionals from all the top law institutions of the country will be fighting for the coveted trophy.

The most exciting thing about IGNITAC'25 is that it has a cash pool of 2.4 lakhs. All the winners will get trophies, medals along with internship opportunities at MCO Legals including a lot of other perks and exciting opportunities. The registration fees is Rs. 4,500 per team (excluding accommodation fees)

Day 3 - XMC'25
The 3rd day of Xavier Mediation Competition 2025 organised by the Xavier Society of Law and Justice (XSLAJ).⚖

The day started with the Quarter final round (8 Negotiating Pairs and 8 Mediators) followed by the Semi Final round (4 Negotiating Pairs and 4 Mediators) and the Final Rounds (2 Negotiating Pairs and 2 Mediators).💪🏻

The Final Round took place in the Arrupe Hall. The round was judged by the esteemed partners of Khaitan and Co, R. Ginodia, Aquilaw, Sharma and Sharma, Meheria and Co & Das Legal. Our Guest of Honour, GM legal of Coal India Mr. Sanjeev Bharadwaj also joined us in the final round.✍🏻

We are thrilled as 34 teams including NLSIU, DU, MNLU, CNLU, UPES, NLU DELHI, JGLS, WBNUJS, NALSAR, SLS and many more from all over India participated in XMC'25.

The Winners of XMC'25:
•⁠ ⁠Best Negotiating Pair - JGLS with the cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 and internship opportunity at Khaitan and Co.🤑
•⁠ ⁠Runner-up Negotiating Pair - MNLU AURANGABAD with the cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and internship opportunity at Aquilaw.🤠

Xavier Law School hosted a dynamic academic competition, bringing together students from seven distinguished schools. The event featured intense rounds of Debate, Quiz, and Case Study competitions, challenging the participants' legal acumen and general knowledge. Students showcased their skills and collaborated in a competitive yet supportive environment. The experience not only sharpened their critical thinking but also provided them with valuable insights into the legal field.

Xavier Law School celebrated its 6th Foundation Day with its vibrant portrayal of the theatricality in the life of law. The second day of August kicked off with a cultural event which was a treat to the ears and eyes, then after an intellectually stimulating movie screening "Anatomy of a Fall" evoking questions on the process of investigation and trial. Then, we had a face-off of words and intellect between the winners of XAVJUDICE'24 and XITAC'23 before a jury comprised of esteemed academicians representing various disciplines, who shared thier perspectives on the film and the argumentative proceeding. Lastly, the cherry on the top was an entertaining and impactful presentation of music and that commenced as the end of the 6th anniversary of the Xavier Law School.
