ology has come into existence by Surya Group of Institutions as the first college in the year 2005. Sri Jagdambika Pal is the chairman of the college, famous politician and academician, Member of Parliament and Ex- Chief Minister, of Uttar Pradesh. CEST Lucknow is housed on Raibareilly road about 1 km from Mohanlalganj. It is about 20 km away from Railway Station of Lucknow and Alambagh Bus Station and about 25 km far from Chaudhary Charan Singh (Amausi) Airport. The campus of the college is stretched over an area about 13 acres land. The campus of the college is located in pollution free surrounding and lush green environment ideally well-matched to learning atmosphere. Initially the college is started with a four year B.Tech program in four branches, viz. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) with an intake of 240 students. In the year of 2006, The Information Technology branch and two year MBA program has been introduced. Today the college has the capacity to intake 420 students to its B.Tech program and 60 students to its MBA program. All the courses offered by the college are duly approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), MHRD (Ministry of Human Resources and Development), Government of India and the State Government. The very first batch of B.Tech and second batch of MBA passed in the year of 2009. Facilities and Infrastructure
CEST Lucknow facilitates all the essential facilities to its students within the campus of the college. College campus comprises of well equipped group of computer laboratories having 340 P-IV/Core 2 duo computer terminals. In addition to this modern configuration 100 PCs are likely to be added shortly. Almost all the computers are installed with Microsoft Window XP/Linux operating system. Students of the college can avail all the relevant Microsoft software, viz. Turbo c++, Visual studio, MS Project, MS office and Java. Recently, powerful analytical software MAT LAB & SIMULINK with a number of tool boxes worth costing Rs. 10.0 Lacs and a CADIAN software have been purchased to fulfill the desires of software based laboratories of curriculum and to help students for preparing quality projects. The library of the college is located at first and second storey of beautiful round shaped block. Library block is fitted with AC and the libraries have all most modern amenities including that of internet, photo copying and scanning. The CEST Lucknow library provides a book bank facility to students to have sufficient numbers of good text books as prescribed in the U.P. Technical University syllabus. In addition to this, students are provided with the facility to borrow two books at a time. CEST Lucknow has a recently built well designed boy’s hostel with a capacity of accommodating 330 students. All rooms of the hostel have double sharing facility. Besides, the management of the college hired girl's hostel at Gomti Nagar area having more than 100 seat capacity. All students are provided with the necessary furniture like Bed, Table chair and Almirah. College of Engineering Science and Technology Lucknow facilitate six well equipped laboratories that are specialized and equipped to conduct advanced practical and research work. Some specialized laboratories of the college comprises: Pharmaceutics laboratory, Pharmaceutical Chemistry lab, Anatomy and Physiology lab, Pharmacognosy lab, Microbiology lab.
