GSR 1179 (E) dated 28th December, 2016
Govt. of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have published the draft Rule to amend the Rule 64 (2) of Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, 1945 for the qualifications of Competent Person in respect of whole sale drug licenses on the form(s) 20-B & 21-B. In this draft Rule, the qualification of competent person will be only Registered Pharmacist (RP).
This will a bold change in the Drugs & Cosmetics Rule, 1945. We should all strongly support this amendment. Govt. of India has asked suggestions/comments regarding this change. We have to send our comments in its favor by writing the need and importance of such amendment.
