Mock Drill on Disaster Management at GSSS Balichowki
A Mock Drill on Disaster Management was conducted at Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS) Balichowki to enhance preparedness and awareness among students and staff regarding emergency situations. The drill focused on safety measures to be adopted during natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and landslides.
Students and teachers were briefed about evacuation procedures, emergency exits, assembly points, and first-aid measures. The participants practiced safe evacuation in an orderly manner under the guidance of the Disaster Management Committee of the school.
The mock drill helped in assessing the preparedness level of the school and reinforced the importance of timely response, coordination, and safety during emergencies. The activity was conducted successfully with active participation from students, teachers, and supporting staff.
