Students from class 6th to 10th participated with great enthusiasm and made it successful. The 69th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour and gaiety in the school. The celebration commenced with the customary unfurling of the national flag followed by the National Anthem. The chief guest for today was Mr. Gulabchand Ji Patidar (Jila Adhyaksha Patidar Samaj, Khargone).

Children’s Day is celebrated on November 14 commemorating the birthday of first Prime Minister of independent India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Known for his love and affection towards children, his birthday came to be celebrated as children’s day in the country. He was affectionately addressed as Chacha Nehru by children. Also, known as Bal Divas, the day is celebrated with much zeal and enthusiasm in the country. Along with children’s day being a fun day for kids, it also tries to emphasize on children’s rights and needs. It talks about the importance of the right to education, care, and a safe childhood. Nehru is often cited as saying that children should be lovingly nurtured as they are nation’s future citizens.

आज श्री उमिया बाल विद्या आश्रम सोमाखेड़ी में सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल के जन्म दिवस को राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस के रूप में मनाया गया इस दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में संस्था में पधारे अतिथि द्वारा पटेल प्रतिमा का पूजन अर्चन किया गया साथ ही प्राचार्य महोदय के द्वारा राष्ट्रीय एकता के संदर्भ मैं अपने विचार व्यक्त किए गए इसके अलावा विद्यालय के बच्चों के द्वारा कविता पाठ कर सरदार पटेल रानी लक्ष्मीबाई जैसे महान व्यक्तित्व पर प्रकाश डालने के साथ ही महिला सशक्तिकरण तथा कन्या भ्रूण हत्या जैसे गंभीर मुद्दों पर प्रकाश डाला गया आश्रम परिवार देश में राष्ट्रीय एकता की कामना करते हुए सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल को नमन करता है

हाल ही में सम्पन्न हुए जिला स्तरीय खेल प्रतियोगिता में श्री उमिया बाल विद्या आश्रम सोमाखेडी के विधार्थीयो ने जीत हासिल कर आज दिनाक 18/09/17 को संभाग में खरगोन जिले का प्रतिनिधित्व कर अपनी जीत के क्रम को जारी रखा, अब विद्यालय के विधार्थी जल्द ही प्रदेश में विद्यालय, जिले व अपना तथा माता पिता का नाम रोशन करेंगे। हर्ष के इस मौके पर समस्त ट्रस्टी, प्राचार्य व स्टाफ ने इनके उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना की है।

कल पैरामाउंट एकेडमी कसरावद मे जिलास्तरीय संझा प्रतियोगिता का भव्य आयोजन सम्पन्न हुआ।इस प्रतियोगिता मे 150 विद्यालयो की छात्राओ ने भाग लिया, जिसमे वरिष्ठ वर्ग मे श्री उमिया बाल विद्या आश्रम सोमखेड़ी की कु प्रगति पाटीदार 10वी, निकिता पाटीदार 12वी व रोशनी पाटीदार 12वी ने जिले मे तृतिय स्थान अर्जित कर संस्था को गौरवान्वित किया। खुशी के इस मौके पर विद्यालय के अध्यक्ष डॉ भगवान जी पाटीदार,उपाध्यक्ष श्री जितेन्द्र जी पाटीदार, सचिव श्री राकेश जी पाटीदार व समस्त ट्रस्टी, प्राचार्य श्री आशुवेंद्र सिंह व स्कूल स्टाफ ने हर्ष व्यक्त किया।
