SOIL presents the Academy Industry Week, a series of intellectual sessions designed to help our students grow beyond classroom learning and enable them to learn and interact with business experts and practitioners.

With multiple days of case analysis, simulations, role plays and insightful guest lectures by Industry Leaders and Business Experts, the AI week gives them a broad exposure to the real business working environment. It also helps to develop a deep understanding of domain related concepts and application.

Our Social Innovation program (SIP) has seen a great response from all the PGDM cohorts. Tuesdays are dedicated to NGO visits and all the students are learning from these experiences, especially focusing on the issues faced by under-served communities in the real world.

Disabilities to deprivation to deficiencies are an inevitable part of our society, especially in marginalised sections. Sensitizing the young minds of our PGDM students to be empathetic is a core value of SOIL. Here are a few glimpses.

Dr. Manjula Srinivas, Professor & Dean of Centre for Design Thinking & Liberal Arts and Dean of Student Affairs, talks about Learning Corporate Communication at SOIL and how we bring the students in the classroom to different levels of communication by giving a lot of emphasis on oral, written, social, and digital communication strategies.

In this video, she shares how the SOIL curriculum on Communication is structured, how focus is given to each students' online presence and skills for today's digital world, and how skills like fact checking & authentic communication are important for our students.
