We have secured Category-I Status from the UGC- Govt of India.of. It provides un-precedented academic and administrative autonomy that will enable the university to innovate and expand more effectively. It can introduce new academic programmes, departments, schools, centres, diploma courses, certificate programmes, and interdisciplinary initiatives without requiring prior approval from the UGC. It can also introduce online programmes. The varsity can also establish constituent units and off-campus centres within its geographical jurisdiction without prior approval, thereby expanding access to quality education
