It is matter of great pride and honor that Er. Abhishek Singh Chandel (B.Tech, Electronics & Communication, 2008-2012 Batch), alumnus of Hindustan College of Science & Technology has launched his first fictional story book, “LOST IN THE KNOWN”. Abhishek Chandel is a passionate freelance writer & public speaker who graduated from Hindustan College in year 2012. Abhishek got campus placement in renowned MNC, Tata Consultancy Services when he was in Final Year of B.Tech. But his passion and determination was in writing and he decided not to join TCS. During his final year of college, he started writing a blog on life but, in a fit of brutal honesty, decided to delete it all shortly after because he didn’t think it was writing worthy of the great vast webosphere. He began to express the fragrance of life in the form of poems, essays and stories and has every intention to continue doing this.

On Friday, 20th Feb, 2015, this book was officially launched in a ceremony at Hindustan College of Science & Technology. Prof. V. K. Sharma (Executive Director, HCST), Dr. Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay (Director, HCST), Mr. Manish Gupta (Coordinator-Alumni Cell, SGI) and Dr. Sanjay Jain (Head of Electronics & Communication Department, HCST) launched this book and purchased the first five copies as a token of appreciation. Abhishek Chandel also shared his college life experiences with students of Electronics & Communication department of HCST; he motivated them to explore every sphere of their lives to become a successful person.

Abhishek Chandel was felicitated and conferred upon the SGI Distinguished Alumni Award by the College Management. A trophy and appreciation certificate were awarded to him for his exceptional fictional writing in the form of story book, “LOST IN THE KNOWN”.
