There are English medium schools, Private Engineering colleges, Private Diploma colleges & General colleges for student of our Localities/block but there is no Private Industrial Training Institute for Skill Training. However our students are very much interested in the field of technical education. ITI like ITI Hooghly ,ITI Kalyani but few are getting chances and rest are demoralized and taking
admission in general college as they have no other way. As there was no Pvt. Industrial Training Institute in the Chinsurah-Mogra Block, Sri Santanu Banerjee, S/O-Late Samar Banerjee has made my own SKILL PRIVATE ITI, at Vill-Gajaghanta, P.O. + P.S.: Mogra, Dist.-Hooghly, Pin-712148, West Bengal with Electrician (1+1+1) & Fitter (1+1+1) Trade at his own property where the poor, needy, interested student of our localities and surroundings will get admission for skill training. The student having poor and medium marks in Madhyamik and ICSE examination could make their career by skill training at this Institute because at present skill manpower demand is very high.
