To commemorate the birth anniversary of the former President of India and legendary educationist Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a grand Teacher's Day celebration was organized on Saturday, September 05, 2026, at Swaroopi Devi Memorial Inter College, Linepar, Moradabad.
The event commenced at 11:30 AM with a joint lamp-lighting ceremony. The auspicious lamp was lit by the School Manager Shri Premveer Singh, Management Committee Member Smt. Srishti Singh, Rotary Club Achievers President Smt. Lovely Gupta, Club Secretary Smt. Kalpna Sharma, Club Founder Shri Anshul Sharma, retired teacher of G.G. Hindu Inter College Shri Girish Chandra Joshi, and the school Principal Shri Udayraj Singh.
On this special occasion, external guest educators Shri Girish Chandra Joshi (Retired Teacher, G.G. Hindu Inter College, Moradabad) and Shri Anil Kumar Yadav (Retired Principal, Government Inter College, Thakurdwara) were felicitated and honored for their invaluable contribution to education.
The event highlighted the pivotal role of teachers in society and nation-building. Addressing the gathering, the speakers emphasized that teachers do not merely impart academic knowledge, but also instill values, discipline, moral ethics, and the guidance necessary for success in life. They added that teachers shape the personality and lay the core foundation for the country's future citizens.
The stage was efficiently managed and anchored by teacher Shri Hemant Awasthi, along with College Captain Ish*ta and Cultural Head Priyanshi Sharma. Concluding the ceremony, School Principal Shri Udayraj Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the guests, teachers, and the school fraternity, extending his warmest wishes on Teacher's Day.
