On 5th March 2026, Rizvi College of Hotel Management organized an engaging Debate Competition for the First Year students, giving young minds a platform to express their thoughts, confidence, and perspectives. 💭🎙️

We were honored to have Ms Ayesha Mohta, Assistant Professor in Front Office at Ramanath Payyade College of Hospitality Management Studies, as our esteemed Judge. She was joined by Ms Audrey D’Souza, Training & Placement Manager, who ensured the competition was conducted fairly while appreciating the creativity, confidence, and ideas presented by the students. 👩‍⚖️👏

Each batch participated with a group representative, making the event lively, competitive, and filled with thought-provoking discussions and powerful arguments. 🔥🧠

This event was conducted under the guidance of Sail Sir, with special thanks to our respected Principal Chef Padmakumar Nair for his continuous support. A heartfelt appreciation to all the volunteers and participants whose dedication made the event a grand success. 🌟🙌

On 18th February, during the Annual Day at Rizvi College of Hotel Management, the results of an exciting year-long best house competition were celebrated. Throughout the academic year 2025–26, several competitions were organized by the Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Front Office, Food n Beverage, Decor, Media and Literary departments, where the four houses — Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green — competed with great enthusiasm and spirit.

🏆 Blue House proudly emerged as the winner!

Under the inspiring leadership of Captain Erika Menezes (TYBSc E Batch) and Vice Captain Shubham Pendari, Blue House displayed exceptional teamwork and determination. Erika’s supportive nature, positive attitude, and constant encouragement motivated every member of the house to actively participate and give their best.

This achievement was made even more special under the guidance of Sail Sir and Sunil Chef, with special thanks to our respected Principal, Chef Padmakumar Nair, for their encouragement and support throughout the journey.

On 18th February, during the Annual Day at Rizvi College of Hotel Management, the Best Captain Award was proudly presented to Sana Sayed (TYBSc H) for her outstanding leadership throughout the academic year 2025–26. 🌟

Sana led her house with great determination and teamwork, securing second position in the overall house competitions conducted by the Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Front Office, Food n Beverage,Decor,Media and Literary departments. Her ability to motivate students, encourage participation, and maintain team spirit truly set her apart.

She was strongly supported by Vice Captain Nipun Kesarkar and Aditi Gupta—their dedication and teamwork played a vital role, and this achievement would not have been possible without their efforts. 🤝✨

The Accommodation Department organized a Flower Arrangement Exhibition on 25th February, where the 3rd year specialized accommodation department students showcased their creativity and artistic flair. 💐
Each bloom was thoughtfully arranged, reflecting harmony, balance, and the elegance that flowers bring to hospitality décor. From vibrant petals to delicate designs, every arrangement truly blossomed with imagination and skill. 🌷🌿

Guided by Trupti Ma’am (HOD – Accommodation Department) and Pratik Sir, the exhibition highlighted the art of floral styling and presentation—an essential skill in the world of hospitality.

🌸✨ Blooming Creativity at Rizvi! – Flower Arrangement Session & Exhibition ✨🌸

The Housekeeping Department of Rizvi College of Hotel Management celebrated creativity and hospitality skills through a Flower Arrangement Session and Exhibition held on 23rd and 25th February 2026. 🌷💐

On 23rd February 2026, the 2nd year students had a wonderful opportunity to attend an engaging Flower Arrangement Session, where they learned the fundamentals of floral styling, colour harmony, balance, proportion, and presentation—an essential skill in the hospitality industry to enhance ambience and guest experience. 🌼✨

Following this, on 25th February 2026, the 3rd year specialized students of Accommodation Department showcased their talent through a beautiful Flower Arrangement Exhibition, presenting different styles of floral décor that reflected creativity, elegance, and artistic expression. 🌹🌿

Both the session and exhibition were conducted under the guidance of Trupti Ma’am (HOD – Accommodation Department) and Pratik Sir, who inspired and encouraged students to explore the art of floral aesthetics in hospitality. 👩‍🏫🌸
