কলিয়াবৰ মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ এথনিক হাবৰ পৰা ছাত্ৰ- ছাত্ৰীসকলক তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰাপ্য ধন প্ৰদান কৰা হয়। মুঠ ১৬,১৬০ টকা ছাত্ৰ- ছাত্ৰীসকলক ভাগ বতৰা কৰি দিয়া হয়। এই অনুষ্ঠানত ঊলৰ প্ৰশিক্ষণৰ ছাত্ৰ- ছাত্ৰীসকলক প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ প্ৰদান কৰা হয়। অনুষ্টুপীয়াকৈ আয়োজন কৰা এই অনুষ্ঠানত মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ উপাধ্যক্ষাকে ধৰি আভ্যন্তৰীণ মান নিৰূপণ কোষৰ সমন্বয়ক ড০ প্ৰদীপ মছাহাৰীদেৱ, জ্যেষ্ঠ অধ্যাপক বশিষ্ঠ কলিতাদেৱ লগতে কোষৰ সদস্য গোসাঁই চান দাসদেৱ উপস্থিত থাকে ।

Today students and faculty members of Kuwaritol Higher Secondary school has visited Kaliabor college central Library. The team first visited the laboratories and experience other important facilities of the college such as Rain water harvesting, Ground water recharge. The visit was lead by Dr. Basistha Kalita, Assistant Professor, Dept of Botany, Kaliabor College. Dr. Birender Pal, Librarian, Kaliabor College also introduced the team with the modern library system which was also accompanied by the library staff too.

The NSS Unit, Kaliabor College organized an Orientation Programme for the first-year NSS volunteers on 30 January 2026 at Kolong Conference Hall. The session was enriched by Dr. Basistha Kalita, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany and Former NSS Programme Officer, who spoke on the ideals, objectives, and responsibilities of NSS and inspired the volunteers to actively engage in social service. NSS uniforms were also distributed to the volunteers marking a formal and motivating beginning to their journey as NSS volunteers.

Kaliabor College NCC unit has celebrated India's 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026, with events at the college premises and Gandhi Pathar in Kaliabor, Assam. We are produ to share that Cadet Premika Lakra received the Best Commander Award, while the unit earned the Best Group Award in the drill competition.

The Department of Education successfully organized an Educational Excursion to Majuli district, the world’s largest river island, on 10th and 11th January, 2026.
On the first day, the teachers along with the students visited Samaguri Satra and Dakhinpat Satra and on the second day the group visited Notun Kamalabari Satra, Auniati Satra, Uttar Kamalabari Satra, and Garamur Satra.
The excursion provided students with valuable field-based learning experiences and exposure to the rich cultural, religious, and historical heritage of Majuli.

Kaliabor College is proud to share that Under Officer Him Jyoti Borah (Regimental No. AS2023SDA012549) from Kaliabor College NCC, 8 Assam Bn/Tezpur Group, has been selected for the Republic Day Camp @2026. This is the first time in the last 24 years that a cadet from our college unit will attend this prestigious camp. We convey the best wishes to our cadet for this upcoming journey. We also extend our gratitude towards Dr. Dilip Kumar Sonowal, faculty in-charge of the Kaliabor College NCC Unit, without whose support and dedication this achievement would not have been possible.

27 th December,2025: An awareness programme on “Child Marriage” was successfully organized by the Women Cell and IQAC, Kaliabor College on 27th December 2025 at 3:30PM in the Mahabahu Conference Hall. The programme was conducted under the initiative of the Bal Vivah Mukt Campaign of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
The Principal of Kaliabor College delivered an insightful awareness speech,emphasizing the harmful effects of child marriage on children’s physical health, mental well-being, education, and overall development. The Principal stressed that child marriage is a violation of human rights and a serious social and legal offence, and urged students to become responsible citizens and advocates for social change.
Following this, Dr. Arati Basumatary, President of the Women Cell, delivered a detailed and impactful speech on the legal aspects, social consequences, and long-term impact of child marriage, particularly on girls. She highlighted the role of education, community awareness, and youth participation in achieving the goals of the Bal Vivah Mukt Campaign.

On 18th December 2025, the Department of Assamese, Kaliabor College, successfully organized the inauguration of its departmental e-magazine titled “Loriyoli”. The e-magazine was formally inaugurated by Dr. U. K. Baruah, Principal of Kaliabor College, who appreciated the initiative of the department and encouraged students to engage in creative and academic writing.

On the same occasion, the Department also inaugurated its departmental newsletter titled “Hengul”, which was formally inaugurated by Dr. Pradip Machahary, Coordinator, IQAC, Kaliabor College. He highlighted the importance of such publications in enhancing academic activities and promoting departmental achievements.
