Dear RGU Students,
Today, when you step into that polling booth, you're carrying more than just yourself. You're carrying the dreams of every student who has sat in a classroom at RGU. Every student who has struggled with the commute. Every student who has doubted whether their degree would be enough.
You're carrying the future.
For too long, RGU has been a place of potential that never quite becomes reality. Beautiful campus, broken promises. Great faculty, forgotten commitments. Students who work hard but walk out uncertain.
But what if it didn't have to be this way?
Meje Taku understands RGU. He's not a new face with a polished speech. He's someone who has already shown up for you—during the hardest times, when it mattered most. He's fought for APST students to have equal opportunities in PhD programs and teaching positions. He's pushed for government exam reservation. He's negotiated real scholarships.
And now, he's promising something that feels almost impossible: a full residential campus. Real jobs when you graduate. New subjects in colleges across the state so no student is left behind. Clean water. Safe hostels. A union that actually listens.
Maybe you don't believe in politicians. That's fair. But believe in this: You deserve to study without losing hours to travel. You deserve to graduate without fear. You deserve a union that fights for you, not for itself.
Today, vote for that.
Vote Meje Taku—not because he's perfect, but because he remembers what a student union should be.
Your vote matters more than you think.
