K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology is one of the upcoming premier Institute in India. The college was established in the year 1994 by a great visionary Lion Dr.K.S.RANGASAMY MJF., Founder the KSR educational and charitable trust. The institution is located at Tiruchengode in the outskirt of Erode, known as Textile city. At pre
sent this institute offers 14 Under Graduate and 12 Post Graduate courses in addition to M.S/Ph.D. programmers in different Science and Technology disciplines. The salient feature of our college includes accreditation of U.G / P.G courses approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and it is an Autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College has been certified with ISO9001:2008, accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “A” Grade, well established infrastructure/telecommunication facilities, digital library, Center of research excellences like Centre for Sustainable Energy study (CENSES), Centre for Low Cost Automations and Intelligent System (CELCAIS) etc., The college has signed Memorandum of Understandings with leading research institutes for the betterment of faculty and students. The Institution has 12 sister Institutions including 3 engineering colleges and a Dental college. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The department of Mechatronics Engineering was started in the year 2002 and M.E.(Industrial Safety Engineering) was started in the year 2007 that occupies a prominent place in the annals of academic history. The department has been accredited by NBA. All the FACULTY MEMBERS ARE VERY WELL EXPERIENCE IN TEACHING AND RESEARCH. The department has been consistently producing illustrious Engineers of fine caliber and enabling them to occupy prestigious position in the academic and industrial field. The department has excellent laboratory facilities that comprises of Microprocessor & Microcontroller and Programmable Logic Controller Lab, Virtual Instrumentation Lab, Embedded Systems Lab, Robotics and Machine Vision Lab, CAD/CAM Lab and Industrial Safety Lab. All labs are equipped with latest equipment's and software’s. The department has been recognized as the Research Centre of Anna University. It aims to achieve higher levels of glory in the years to come. The project works done by the students have won awards from various IITs, NITs and funds from Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, AICTE .etc.,
