I am delighted to inform you that a mega event is happening with collective involvement from 11 government agencies and ministries which will see more than 500 technology start-ups and innovations to be showcased. This event will be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India and deliver the inaugural address at 10:30 AM on 11th May 2023.
"The Government of India declared May 11 as National Technology Day in the year 1999 and since then the day holds a special significance for the entire Nation. With India progressing at a fast pace in the field of Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the theme for this year's National Technology Day is School to Startups - Igniting Young Minds".
MoE’s Innovation Cell is happy to announce the above as a MIC Driven Activity for our all Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs) to observe the National Technology Day and watch the inaugural address of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India at 10:30 AM, 11th May 2023 to be broadcasted to all students in schools and higher education institutions via webcast (Link to Join: pmindiawebcast.nic.in ). If you are in Delhi, you may visit the National Technology Week exhibition at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The MoE and AICTE have an innovation pavilion in hall no 5, 1st floor of the exhibition hall, and it is the 2nd right pavilion. The MoE pavilion has more than 8 tracks such as IP Clinic, mentoring round, investors' pitch and a digital pavilion that will highlight its innovation and startup policy initiatives. In addition to this, 50-60 innovations and start-ups funded by MoE & AICTE will be demonstrated. Moreover, experiential learning tracks such as IDEA lab, knowledge track where experts will share their thoughts, crossword puzzle rounds, and innovation/startup storytelling sessions will be conducted during this period. More importantly, on 13th May from 11.30 AM to 01.30 PM, ACTE is inviting 3 founders from deep tech successful start-ups are in the potential to become a soonicorn and unicorn to interact with the entrepreneurial student and faculty visitors from HEIs.
