Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni, Solan and Bayer Crop Science India today signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of a Bayer Learning Centre (BLC) at the University campus.
The MoU was signed between Vice Chancellor Dr. H.S. Baweja and Dr Mohan Babu Rajaram, Cluster Commercial Lead — India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka, Bayer CropScience.
The partnership aims to promote experiential learning and strengthen collaboration between academia and industry through the demonstration of advanced agricultural technologies, sustainable farming practices, and capacity-building initiatives. The Bayer Learning Centre will serve as a platform for hands-on training, field demonstrations, student skill development, exposure visits, and knowledge dissemination in the areas of horticulture and crop science.
The initiative is expected to create valuable opportunities for students through internships, practical learning experiences, and exposure to modern agricultural innovations.
