Department of Mathematics, Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi invites you all to an online talk on *Maryam Mirzhakani*🎧 to celebrate Women in Mathematics on May 12, 2023.

May 12 is the Birthday of Maryam Mirzhakani, the first woman to win a Field's Medal 🏅in 2014. In this talk we will briefly reminisce about Maryam's life and work before looking at the ubiquity and usefulness of mathematics through some of its applications. 🌈
