IT Club organised an interactive and enriching session on 'Tableau', a leading Data Visualization tool with Mr. Srikanth Balabhadrapatruni, an Alumnus of XLRI, PGDM batch 2019-20.

During this session, Srikanth focused on the foundational elements of the data visualization lifecycle, the business use cases of data visualization, and the building blocks of developing Tableau visuals. Beyond that, he gave the attendees a roadmap of how to build on these fundamentals and set out on a self-exploratory path to master Tableau!
The session helped the batch understand the impactful role data visualization can play in corporate decision making through various practical scenarios.

We sincerely thank Mr Pariksh*t Pawar , Senior VP, Shapoorji Pallonji Group for his masterclass on the real-estate sector and marketing leadership. This talk was part of the ongoing Leadership Talk Series at .

We discussed how the real estate sector has evolved over the years and what are the marketing and business challenges in the real estate market in recent times. We also discussed alternate and new business models in the sector.

In terms of marketing excellence, we learnt about marketing strategy framework, brand identity, communication methodologies, go-to marketing strategy, media mix, digital marketing, CRM Solutions and community building. We could relate and visualize all the topics through real-life applications and solutions.

Today had the pleasure of interacting with two distinguished Alumni from ,Harshmeet Singh and Jaskaran Singh Gulati.
Jaskaran Singh Gulati is General Manager with HealthCareGlobal with 14+ years of experience & Harshmeet Singh- a Business Analyst with 10+years of experience currently working with Bell Canada.
Both alums interacted with the batch for close to two hours ,offering insights into the opportunities in the business world during Covid times and enlightened the batch on how to best utilize the MBA experience to develop ourselves into fine leaders and managers.
We as a batch are grateful to them for taking out their precious time and look forward to welcome them on campus soon.

We thank Shridhar Venkat for sharing Patra's vision and details of operations for our ongoing at IIM Lucknow, IPMX Batch'13.
Mr Shridhar has over 25 years of work experience, working in both corporate and developmental sector. Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest not-for-profit Mid-Day Meal Programme serving wholesome food every school day to over 1.8 million children every day from 19,039 schools across 12 states & 2 Union territories of India.

We also discussed key leadership mindsets and spiritual values of professionalism, apart from learning about efficient supply-chain and management techniques used by Akshay Patra.
