Some journeys don’t follow a straight line; they evolve with perspective, exposure, and the right foundation.

Dr. Aqueela Syed, an alumna of the MD (Hom) program at MLDMHI, represents one such journey shaped by strong clinical training and a deeper understanding of healthcare beyond the obvious.

What began within the clinical space gradually expanded into new domains, reflecting how foundational learning can open unexpected and meaningful pathways across the healthcare ecosystem.

At MLDMHI, World Kidney Day 2026 was observed in association with MLDT and DTH through a series of focused sessions aligned with this year’s theme, “Kidney Care for All: Saving Lives, Protecting the Planet.”

The program featured an expert talk by Dr. K. M. Prasad (Nephrologist), along with insightful presentations by Dr. Namrata Pandey and Dr. Bharti Shah (Nutritionist), each bringing attention to different dimensions of kidney care and patient management.

The event also recognized the efforts of MLD residents who completed a specialized certificate course in the homoeopathic management of CKD and ESRD patients.

While each session added a unique perspective, the larger takeaway lies in how these conversations come together to shape a better understanding and care.

The National Homoeopathic Symposium 2026 concluded with a series of moments that highlighted key milestones within the professional community.

Dr. Mrunalika Dixit was awarded the SCR Certification, recognising her continued dedication to clinical excellence.

Dr Ami Majmundar was appointed as Deputy Superintendent, marking an important step in leadership and responsibility within the institution.

A notable element of the conclusion was the inclusion of creative expressions. Dr. Khyati Dodiya brought forward a deeply moving poetic expression reflecting a story of holding on, growing through pain, and the quiet strength people carry within.

Tanu Patel presented a thoughtfully written poem inspired by the theme of the symposium, reflecting a deep sensitivity towards the patients and clinical journeys discussed throughout the sessions.

Together, these moments emphasised that alongside clinical knowledge and technical expertise, the human aspect of medicine remains central to healthcare delivery.

At World Homoeopathy Day 2026, Dr. Manoj Patel’s session pushed this exact question, exploring how we move from individual prescriptions to community-level impact.

With the introduction of the DOER (Delivery of Organised Evidence-Based Response) model, the discussion opened up possibilities for integrating homoeopathy into structured, scalable healthcare systems.
