Blood Donation Camp by the Unit of

A blood donation camp was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of , in collaboration with Anugrah Memorial College, Gayaji. Held at the Yoga Center Hall within Malviya Bhawan under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, the camp saw members of the CUSB family voluntarily donate blood. Commending the blood donation camp organized by the NSS, Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.N. Singh described it as an act of true service and social work. Despite the sudden rise in temperatures over the past few days and the impending commencement of semester examinations, students demonstrated great enthusiasm for blood donation, resulting in the collection of a total of 42 units of blood. The blood donation camp was organized and led by NSS Program Officer Dr. Parijat Pradhan, under the guidance of NSS Coordinator Prof. Usha Tiwari.

NSS Unit Organizes Seminar on the Theme ‘Food, Planet, and Earth’

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) organized a webinar on the theme ‘Food, Planet, and Earth.’ Held under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameswar Nath Singh, the event was conducted in a hybrid mode (combining offline and online formats) at the Department of Physical Education within the School of Education. The program was coordinated under the guidance of NSS Coordinator Prof. Usha Tiwari and Program Coordinator Dr. Rahul Singh (Assistant Professor, Physical Education).

Five-Day Social Work Camp of CUSB MSW students at Vikas Bharti in Gumla, Jharkhand

Students of the Master of Social Work (Second Semester) program at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) successfully completed a five-day social work camp at Vikas Bharti, located in Bishunpur, Gumla, Jharkhand. Acting upon the recommendation of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameswar Nath Singh and under the supervision of Prof. Vijay Kumar Sharma, Head of the Department of Sociological Studies, the students participated in this camp from April 17 to April 21, 2026. During the camp, other faculty members—Dr. Haresh Narayan Pandey, Dr. Parijat Pradhan, and Dr. Priya Ranjan—also accompanied the students.
