We are proud to share that Khyati Kalra and Saksham Aggarwal secured the Second Runner Up position at Prod-A-Vista, a prestigious national level case competition hosted by IIM Raipur.

The competition witnessed participation from 1,111 undergraduate and postgraduate teams from leading institutions across India. Representing IIM Sirmaur, the team stood among the top three teams nationally, marking a notable achievement on a highly competitive platform.

We are proud to share that Dani Takamunni and Roopal Seth secured the 2nd Runner Up position at Circus Maximus, a national level marketing case competition organised by XLRI Jamshedpur.

The competition required participants to develop a comprehensive marketing and business strategy for Sree Leathers, where their solution was recognised for its clarity, practicality, and strategic coherence. This achievement was secured among 1,155 registered teams, competing against some of the best managerial minds across the country.

In an intense contest where cash took a back seat and smart decision making ruled the floor, participants raced against the clock trading, negotiating, and outmanoeuvring each other to climb the leader board.

As the chill of winter begins to settle across the valley, the need for warmth becomes a daily struggle for many around us. While we go about our routines wrapped in comfort, countless individuals continue to face the harsh cold without adequate clothing. Moments like these remind us that compassion is not seasonal it is a responsibility we carry as a community.

Continuing this tradition of compassion, IIM Sirmaur once again stepped forward to support those in need through our annual Cloth Donation Drive. Students, faculty, and staff came together to contribute warm clothes with the hope of bringing comfort, dignity, and warmth to the lives of others.

We appreciate Sankalp, the CSR Cell of IIM Sirmaur, for organising this meaningful event.

Xentrix Esports successfully hosted the JioGames Bootcamp at IIM Sirmaur, featuring an insightful and engaging session with Mr. Vishwas Kasat (Senior Product Manager) and Mr. Kushagra Singh (Growth & Strategy Lead).

The speakers interacted deeply with students discussing gaming strategy, cloud-driven innovations, esports expansions, and product-thinking frameworks that shape the gaming ecosystem. They also addressed student queries, shared real-world challenges, and evaluated perspectives during an exciting case competition conducted as part of the bootcamp.

The two days also witnessed intense competition during the JioGames Valorant Campus Cup, filling the campus with high-energy gameplay and an atmosphere of skillful rivalry.

We commend the efforts of Xentrix Esports, the Students Interest Group (SIG), for seamlessly executing both the bootcamp and the tournament with remarkable coordination.

Congratulations to the winning team - Xentrix E-Sports. The team will proudly represent IIM Sirmaur at the National Finals in February 2026.

Sankalp, the Corporate Social Responsibility committee at IIM Sirmaur, hosted an awareness workshop on general medical care, providing hands-on CPR and emergency response training, spreading accurate knowledge about HIV/AIDS, and addressing the issue of drug abuse to encourage a Nasha-Mukt lifestyle, through collaborative efforts with Fortis Mohali Hospital and CARE NGO.

In the session, the students learnt CPR through demonstration by experts from Fortis. The students were also informed about the steps to take in the event of medical emergencies to ensure patient safety.

NGO Care enlightened the students about the prevalence of AIDS/HIV in India and provided a roadmap for the prevention of the same. The session offered deep insights into how drug abuse becomes addictive and remedies to stop it.

Finserve, the finance club at IIM Sirmaur, hosted a guest lecture featuring Ms. Pruthvi Joshi, Assistant Vice President (AVP) at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Ms. Joshi shared profound insights into how large financial institutions think and operate in the market. She explained how global asset managers approach portfolio design in today's volatile and opportunity-driven financial landscape.

She decoded the strategy of Strategic Asset Allocation and Tactical Asset Allocation. Along with tried-and-tested methods, there was an emphasis on ESG, AI, and alternative investments to ensure effective risk management.

IIM Sirmaur hosted "Brand and Beyond 2.0", an intense 3-round battle between the marketing minds of the institute.

The Winner of Brand and Beyond 2.0 was Team BrandStormers, comprising Harsh Agrawal, Sharvay Nagaonkar, A***n Subrahmonyaru, and Naman Agrawal.

The First Runner-up was Team Pitch Please – Nivika Jaiswal, Antony Stephen Shaji, and Krishna Jangid.
