Hello everyone,

As discussed in the final project meet, anyone who is willing to do project or paper presentation for APOGEE - BITS, Pilani 2016 has to fill up the details on the portal along with the abstract as well as the google doc. for the same.

Also people ,who filled project preferences in final meet, have been allotted projects.[See the photo attached].Project leader contact these people ASAP.

The deadline is 25th oct. 2015 .

Following are a few points to ponder while filling up the portal :

>Please enter all your data correctly. Once filled,NO CHANGES will be entertained.

>The project name in the abstract and the portal should be the same.

>Save the abstract as assocname_category_projectname and then upload it.

>Write the abstract in the proper format, similar to the sample provided by the portal.

>Once the details on the portal is filled, a reference no. will be generated.

>Please make sure to note down the reference number correctly. Also don't share the reference number with anyone else.

>Its mandatory to fill the google doc. along with the portal.

>Use this ref. no. to fill the google doc.(Mismatch of the ref. no. may lead to disqualification of you paper/project)

>Kindly, strictly follow the deadline provided. No entries will be accepted after the deadline.

Hello Guys!
Hope your Mid semester exam went well.Time to gear up for APOGEE - BITS, Pilani 2016 project and paper presentation.
After giving introduction about project pitching in last meet (Check last few post).
Instrumentation Forum is organizing its Second and final project meet wherein you can pitch your ideas ,also you can see others ideas and contact them.
Anyone who has any project idea can present it to us and we will help in writing the abstracts.
We expect your valuable involvement in making APOGEE 2016 a great success.

Thanks guys for showing such good response for Project Meet-1 for APOGEE 2016 of Instrumentation Forum.
Points covered in this meet:
1.Previous year projects were discussed.(From previous post)
2.Do not copy projects.Plagiarism would be checked.
3.Feasibility matters a lot.
4.Application should be there in common life.(Try to make it Social-Easy to implement.)Also, you can get selected for Dhiti.
5.As this time there is only one pitching in January 2016,you have to show your prototype in pitching;Else project will be rejected.
6.One cannot be in more than two projects or else projects will be canceled.(Rule by Department of Controls)
7.Both paper and project presentation would include 6 members.
8.There will be a second project meet in second week of October.Keep checking page for updates.
9.Approach us for any doubt.
