Career Orientation Workshop was conducted for final year students in Coimbatore Campus of Kumaraguru Institutions. The main objective of the program was

To empower Agri - students about various career opportunities.
1. Entrepreneurship: To foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students and provide them with the tools and knowledge to start their own agricultural ventures.
2. Higher Education: To guide students in pursuing advanced studies, such as M.Sc., Ph.D., or other specialized programs, for enhanced career opportunities and research prospects.
3. Competitive Exams: To prepare students for competitive exams related to agriculture and allied fields, enabling them to secure positions in government departments and research organizations.
4. Getting Job Ready: To equip students with the skills, including resume building, and strengths and knowledge needed to explore various job opportunities in the agricultural sector, agribusiness, and related industries. 118 final year students benefitted through this program.

National Farmers Day 2023. Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture in association with Pollachi Poorna Producer Company promoted with the financial assistance from Small Farmers Agribusiness Consortium (SFAC) has celebrated National Farmers Day. A special lecture about Good Practices in Coconut Cultivation was organized as a part of this program. 123+ farmers from in and around Pollachi have participated and benefitted.

🌾 Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture Disaster Relief 2023: Extending a Helping Hand in Times of Need 🌊
In the wake of the devastating heavy rains and floods sweeping through Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanniyakumari, and Tenkasi districts of Tamil Nadu, Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture is proud to share the collective efforts of our compassionate community in providing relief to those affected.

🤝 Community Unity: Together We Stand
In the true spirit of community unity, along with our institute, teaching staff and non-teaching staff, and the remarkable 3rd year B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture students have joined forces to make a significant impact. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, we have organized a relief camp to reach out to the affected residents in villages across Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanniyakumari, and Tenkasi.

🎗️ Essential Kits for a Ray of Hope
Our relief efforts aim to alleviate the struggles of the affected individuals by providing essential kits. These kits encompass a range of necessities, including groceries, spices, toiletries, clothes, and more. It is our sincere hope that these provisions bring a ray of hope and comfort to those grappling with the aftermath of the floods.
