This Biodiversity Day, we're not just planting trees. We're inviting the wild back home.
The 2026 theme — Acting locally for global impact — reminds us that the biggest changes begin small and close to home. So we started where we stand: our own campus. Native grasses are returning, pollinators are finding their way back, and every undisturbed corner is becoming a living classroom in coexistence.
Rewilding isn't about control. It's about stepping back and letting ecological functions flourish - soil that breathes, insects that pollinate, birds that nest, and webs of life we're only beginning to understand. A patch of restored land here strengthens the larger web of life everywhere.

As part of Semester II, students from India and Germany came together to reflect on their journeys of learning, experiencing, and understanding sustainability across diverse social, cultural, and environmental contexts. And now, for their Semester III and internship , Indian students are in Germany.
