Anubandhan 2024 marked a significant milestone for the cohort batch of 2024-25, providing them with the opportunity to hear from Sri Sreenivasa Ramanujam, Workforce Manager at the Cyber Security Group, TCS, Bengaluru.
The esteemed chief guest offered insightful advice drawn from his extensive three-decade career with TCS, a paragon of values in the business realm. He encouraged students to foster equal respect for everyone, continuously learn and share knowledge, and maintain their integrity.
In his guidance for students preparing to enter the corporate world, he highlighted the importance of honing communication and listening skills. He noted that industry expectations are increasingly focused on a solid understanding of fundamentals and a readiness to learn.
Furthermore, he underscored the value of building a professional network, pursuing internship opportunities, and engaging in hackathons and other events, as these have become alternative pathways for companies to identify potential hires.
Dr. Senthil Kumar, Principal of the School of Engineering, outlined the academic schedule and activities for the Academic Year 2024-25. Dr. Bala Koteswari, Dean & Principal, provided a brief report on 2024 placements and the placement and training roadmap for this batch.
The event also recognized first-year students who excelled in various competitions throughout the semester. The event concluded with a Q&A session followed by the National Anthem.
