The Department of Political Science, Raiganj University, successfully organized DEEKSHARAMBH – Students Induction Programme (SIP) on 29.08.2025 in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The programme aimed to familiarize newly admitted students with the academic environment, institutional values, and holistic learning culture of the university. Various sessions were conducted to orient students about the curriculum, examination system, extracurricular activities, NSS, and career opportunities. Faculty members interacted with students to encourage critical thinking and active participation in academic life. The programme also highlighted the importance of discipline, ethics, and social responsibility, ensuring a meaningful beginning to their university journey.
