Report of Celebration of Constitution Day Organised by GDC Ramban on 26/11/25.
A special assembly was organised to mark the Celebrations of Constitution Day in GDC
Ramban on Wednesday 26" of Nonember 2025 which was attended by all the Teaching and non
teaching staff and a large number of students of the college. The Assembly was led by Prof
Satish Kumar Principal of the college along with other senior faculty members of the college.
The assembly started with a brief introduction of the event by Dr Mukhtar Ahmad Mir HOD
Political Science. During the event a Preamble reading ceremony was held to mark the historical
achievement in the constitutional history of our contry. Prof Samir Ahmad Wani HOD English
read out the Preamble of the Constitution to Staff and students present in the assembly. The
Hindi version of the Preamble was read out by Dr Rabinder Kumar HOD Hindi while as Its Urdu
version was read out by Dr Sanjay Kumar HOD Urdu. Later all the participants assembled in the
college seminar hall where Dr Mukhtar Ahmad Mir HOD Political Science deliberated upon the
historical and political significance of the day. During his presentation an emphasis was laid on
the celebration of constitutional values and practices in every field of our lives. Prof Satish
Kumar Principal of the college highlighted the significance of preamble and the role played by
our constitutional forefathers in making India a constitutional democracy. The whole event was
held under the supervision of Prof Raj Kumar Gupta and Prof Sanjay Kumar Katal besides Dr Romesh Chander and Dr Jawaid Sarver.
