Hello Freshers!
Greetings from Corporate Interactions Group, IITR.

It has been over a month since you got upon your dream institute: IIT Roorkee. Being in one of India's best technical institutes, meeting and interacting with the corporate world is inevitable. Team Corporate Interactions Group (CIG) welcomes you to come and get an insight into our work, culture, and interactions.
Formed in 2015, CIG is the active group in iitr land with initiatives like Corporate lecture series, collaborations and many workshops with various organizations, like Samsung and ISRO.

We are glad to announce that we are recruiting volunteers for Events and Content verticals. The volunteers will be working with core team members of CIG. The volunteers will get a chance to enter directly in the CIG team based on their performance.
Recruitment is open to UG 1st year only.

Greetings From Corporate Interactions Group IITR
*Two Day Workshop followed by Industry Project Program*

CIG, IIT Roorkee brings to you an opportunity to work on an Industry Project for the students of IIT Roorkee in collaboration with MathWorks, makers of MATLAB & Simulink. This program will focus on *5G, AI, Big Data, Robotics, Computer Vision*, etc. The program will have a two-day workshop wherein attendees will be trained in Modeling, Simulation, and Machine Learning. Subsequently, successful students will avail themselves of the opportunity to work on the project. *The project duration will be for a minimum of one month.*

Eligibility: *UG, PG, Ph.D.* all.
There is no *prerequisite knowledge* required for the project.
The project can be done *individually or in teams of up to 4 members*.

Day 1 Title: Introduction to Modeling and Simulation for Engineering with MATLAB & Simulink
Date: 29 Nov (Monday)
Time: 2 PM to 4 PM

Day 2 Title: Introduction to Machine Learning for Engineering and Science with MATLAB & Simulink
Date: 30 Nov (Tuesday)
Time: 2 PM to 4 PM

"Literacy in itself is no education. Literacy is not the end of education or even the beginning"
We undermine one's intellect by whether he is literate or not, and by the definition of literacy, it just means that you can read and write in any language. But education is an overall development of learning, the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, morals, beliefs, and habits, and thus it starts from birth.
Even a country calculates the litercay rate, but they have no such method to check for the educational strength.
CIG-IITR requests IITR to strengthen the educational system of our country and pay respect to 'Bapu Ji.

Team CIG is planning to start an initiative IPA, i.e., Interns and Projects for All. It will mainly focus on bringing projects/sponsored projects for freshers and sophomores of IITR. This initiative will help freshers explore every field through projects and hands-on work before choosing their career paths.
