The Placement and Internship Cell (PIC), IIT Roorkee, hosted a felicitation ceremony to celebrate the remarkable efforts of the Placement Managers of the 2025–26 session, whose commitment played a key role in elevating campus placements this year. Graced by Director Prof. K K Pant, Deputy Director Prof. U P Singh, Professor-in-charge CDC Prof. R K Dutta, former Professor-in-charge PIC Prof. Kaushik Pal, and organised by the current Professor-in-charge PIC Prof. Vivek Pancholi, the ceremony acknowledged not only individual contributions but also a collective vision that led to stronger industry partnerships, improved placement outcomes, and better student preparedness.
A special highlight of the evening was the conferment of a memento to Prof. Kaushik Pal, recognising his exemplary leadership and dedicated service over his three-year tenure with the PIC. In his address, Director Prof. K K Pant commended the outgoing team for their impactful efforts and extended his continued support towards strengthening placements, while encouraging the incoming team to build on this momentum and scale even greater heights in the years ahead. The felicitation of the Placement Managers stood as a testament to their commitment, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence that continues to define the institute’s placement journey.
