Charles Hooper was a man of courage. He met with a severe accident and got paralysed but he mustered courage to adapt himself to the new situation. He displayed great persevarance during his struggle for survival with the help of his dog Duke. Not a single day went effortless. There was a commendable gradual progress from moving a step on the first day of his effort to walking upto the porch, then to the fence post, to the intersection and finally to the district office. Many a times he lost his balance and fell down exhausted but he had wonderful endurance that kept him going. Hooper was a person with full of determination. He set dates as objectives and with the help of Duke could acheive the same. He had faith in himself and ability. No one could dare to say that a paralysed man couldn't do the job of a moving salesman taking into account the hardwork he did for a comeback. Hence they created a special desk job for him. All along his dog Duke helped him in his struggle for survival.

A Scottish chieftain is in love with the daughter of Lord Ullin. Lord Ullin does not approve of his daughter's choice and threatens to kill the chief's son. The two lovers escape and reaches the large lake called the lochgyle. It is a stormy night and going into the lake in this weather could be quite dangerous. The chieftain's son offers the boatman a silver pound to ferry them across. The boatman is quite surprised at this request and would like to know who they are. The lover tells him that they have been running for 3 days now. He is sure that if he was caught in the valley he will be killed. His blood would stain the heather.

The brave boatsman offers to take them across. He says that he does so not for money, but because of the charming lady. It is not for her silver coins but for the winsome lady. The dark clouds gathered. The storm grew fierce. The lady pleaded with the men to hurry. She would rather venture into the stormy waters than meet the wrath of her father. I'll meet the raging of the skies. But not an angry father.

The lovers were taken into the stormy waters. But the winds were hard and the tempest too strong. The boat soon capsized and the frail occupants of the boat fell into the lake and were soon drowned.

Just at that moment Lord Ullin reached the bank. His anger had melted away and now he was close to tears his wrath was changed to wailing. He saw the raised hand of his child, before she sank into the water with her lover. He called out to her in grief, promising to accept her lover the chief's son. But he was too late. The lovers had met their watery grave.

villa for sale is a drama written by Sacha Guitry. In this drama Juliette puts up her villa for sale.some customers come to see the villa but they do not buy it. after almost a month, Juliette gets a call saying a lady will come to buy it. a french couple Gaston and Jeanne come to take a look at the villa. while waiting for the owner of the villa, gaston indicater that he has no intention of buying a villa.
Juliette enters and gives a complete discription of the villa.after much bargaining Juliette reduces the price from 2,50,000 francks to 2,00,000 francks.
gaston doesn 't agree and is about to leave when Jeanne wants to have a look around the villa. Jeanne wants to see the upper floor Gaton doesn 't joins them.
Mrs al Smith arrives to look at the villa. she mistakes Gaston as the owner of the villa. She buys the villa for 3,00,000 francks.
When Jeanne returns after looking at the top floor,she indicates that she has lost the idea of buying the villa but Gaston desires to buy the villa for 2,00,000 francks.Juliette is still unaware that Gaston has sold the villa to mrs al smith. Gaston 's ingenuitnity is later discovered by Jeanne.
