This remarkable achievement reflects her dedication, discipline, courage, and unwavering spirit of adventure. Being selected for such a highly competitive and prestigious national-level expedition is a matter of immense pride for our institution and the NCC Unit.

The Department of History (PG) commemorates the Historic Repatriation of the Leiden Copper Plates and proudly remembers the International Workshop conducted on 26 March 2026 that highlighted the profound historical weight of these artifacts, their international prominence, featuring esteemed expert Mr. Dhanasekar Prabakaran, an independent Historian from the Netherlands. The historic repatriation of the Anaimangalam Copper Plates, popularly known as the Leiden Copper Plates of Cholas to its homeland marks a monumental moment for Indian heritage.
