Moment of Celebration and Gratitude

Students of MIT University of Meghalaya recently completed the Employability Accelerator for Retail & Services — and walked away with more than just a certificate. They had industry exposure, leadership conversations, and a clearer sense of the road ahead.

On 22nd April 2026, at Courtyard by Marriott, Shillong, final semester students of BBA (Batch 2023–2027) and MBA (Batch 2024–2026) were formally recognised at the certification ceremony — a joint initiative by UNIQLO India Private Limited and AVENUES Meghalaya.

The students had a rare opportunity to interact with Mr. Kenji Inoue (COO & CFO) and Mr. Kaneko Yuichiro (COO) and other members of UNIQLO India — conversations that bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world business. The occasion was also graced by Shri Wailadmiki Shylla, Hon'ble Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs, and Padma Shri Shri Manas Chaudhuri, whose words of encouragement reminded our graduates that opportunity rewards those who are prepared.
