Dear students and well-wishers.
Perhaps you know that I have retired from the post of principal of the college on 30/11/2022 after serving there for about 11 years since 18/01/2012.
During my tenure I have tried my level best for the allround development of the college. My focal point was my students and fulfillment of their basic requirements. I really feel myself fortunate to get full cooperation from the students for improving the academic and extra academic activities and lead the college to achieve a height of excellence. I had taken over the charge of Principal on 18/01/2012, when the students and guardians were sceptical about Women's College, Silchar to prefer it as the institute for studying. But with cooperation of all, I was able to change the preferential level in the mindset of the students and guardians as well as of the society as a whole from least preferred to most preferred one. However, it is also true that much is yet to be done. And request you all to extend your whole hearted support and cooperation to develop the college as the best college in Assam. Always consider it as your institute, your college and feel proud to be the student of this college.
