Students of Lalit Jain Commerce College enthusiastically attended the Masterclass on Analytics and Management organized by Shantica Leadership Academy in collaboration with Praxis Business School,creating awareness about the growing importance of data analysis in today’s world.

The insightful session by Dr Shayantani Roy Chowdhury and Professor Prashanjit Das inspired students to explore new opportunities in analytics and management. With active participation and engaging interactions, the event turned out to be a grand success.
A heartfelt thanks to Sucharita Dhar for organizing such a dynamic and interactive session for the students of Barak Valley, contributing immensely to their overall growth and career awareness.

Lalit Jain Commerce College successfully organised an interactive session on the Union Budget 2026, passed on 1st February 2026, creating a vibrant platform for learning and discussion.
We were honoured to have Dr. Chandan Dey( Retd. HOD of department of Commerce, Cachar college) as the Chief Guest whose expert insights helped students understand the key highlights and economic implications of the budget.
We also had the privilege of welcoming Shri. Arindam Bhattacharjee(Chartered Accountant and Secretary of Lalit Jain Commerce College), as the Guest of Honour, who shared his valuable perspectives on how the budget impacts education, youth, and the future workforce.

Lalit Jain Commerce College celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great patriotism, dignity, and enthusiasm within the college premises. The program commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and reverence for the nation. We all gathered to honour the spirit of the Constitution and the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that define our Republic. ✨️💫

Lalit Jain Commerce College proudly celebrated the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami along with Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti with great respect and enthusiasm. The programme was organized to honor the spirit of knowledge, culture, and patriotism. The celebration began with a tribute to Goddess Saraswati, seeking blessings for wisdom and learning, followed by a solemn homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, remembering his immense contribution.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our President, Shri Mahabir Prasad Jain.
The celebration beautifully reflected the institution’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and nurturing patriotic values among students.🙏

We, the family of Lalit Jain Commerce College, express our deepest sorrow at the ultimate demise of Shree Kabindra Purkayastha . He was a valued member of our community, and his loss is deeply felt by all of us. On this solemn occasion, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that they find strength and peace during this difficult time.
As a mark of respect to the departed soul. We the family of Lalit Jain Commerce College , managing committee, teaching, non teaching staffs and students observed one minute of silence.
