World Day Against Child Labour – Awareness Programme through Quiz Competition

The NSS Unit of Monmohon Ghosh Anil Das Memorial College organised an awareness programme in the form of a quiz competition on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour.

The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 100 students from Srikona Higher Secondary School, Cachar (Government Higher Secondary School). The quiz competition was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students about child labour, its adverse effects on society, and the importance of ensuring children's rights to education and a safe childhood.

At the conclusion of the programme, the NSS Unit of Monmohon Ghosh Anil Das Memorial College awarded certificates to all 100 participating students. The certificate distribution ceremony was held in the presence of the Principal of Srikona Higher Secondary School, Cachar, along with the institution's senior teachers, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to become advocates for the eradication of child labour.

The programme successfully promoted awareness and sensitised students to the need for collective efforts in eliminating child labour and safeguarding the rights and well-being of every child.
