Festive Creation Event organized by the Department of Commerce & BBA, where students showcased their creativity, innovative ideas and entrepreneurial skills through festive creations.

Reel Making Competition on Start-ups & Entrepreneurship organized by the Department of Mass Communication, encouraging students to express entrepreneurial ideas through digital media and creative storytelling.

District-Level Inter-College Skill, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Exchange brought together students from different colleges to showcase their skills, exchange ideas and celebrate innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

District-Level Inter-College Skill, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Event

Sirsa: Under World Entrepreneurship Day and IDEATHON-2026, CMK National Post Graduate College organized a District-Level Inter-College Skill, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to provide students with a platform to showcase their creativity, skills and innovative ideas and encourage them to transform their talents into employment, self-employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Students from CMK College, Sirsa; National College of Education, Sirsa; Lala Hansraj Futela College of Law; and Shah Satnam Ji Girls College, Sirsa participated enthusiastically and displayed various handmade and creative products through attractive stalls. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Anshu Uppal, Principal, CMK College, by cutting the ribbon. Dr. Poonam Miglani, Principal, National College of Education; Dr. Anoop Singh, Principal, Lala Hansraj Futela College of Law; and Mrs. Kimanshi Sharma, Principal, GRG School, were also present.

Deputy Superintendent Sh. Amrit Singh, Mrs. Babita Malhotra, Mrs. Sangeeta Nanda, Dr. Anu Kathuria, Prof. Aarti Bansal and Dr. Manju Devi graced the occasion and motivated the students. Principal Mrs. Anshu Uppal appreciated the students’ creativity and emphasized the importance of converting skills and innovative ideas into entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Deepika Sharma, who highlighted the importance of skill development, creativity, innovation, teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking among youth. A special attraction was the selfie wall showcasing Haryanvi culture and traditions. Certificates were also distributed to participants from different colleges in recognition of their enthusiastic participation.

The successful organization of the event was supported by the organizing committee members Dr. Priyanka, Mrs. Neha, Ms. Ritu, Ms. Kanishka, Mr. Manish and Mr. Gurvinder, whose valuable contribution ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.

The Red Ribbon Club of the college organized an Extension Talk on “HIV/AIDS and STI” on the occasion of International Youth Day as part of the Intensified IEC Campaign under the able guidance of Mrs Anshu Uppal (Principal, CMK College).The resource persons for the programme were Sh. Kamal Nirwan, ICTC Counsellor, and Ms. Sharmila Yadav, STI Counsellor, from Civil Hospital, Sirsa. They sensitized the students about HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), their prevention, the importance of awareness, and the need for timely counselling and testing.An important feature of the programme was Triple H testing for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and HIV, conducted alongside the awareness talk.The programme concluded successfully with a message of health awareness, responsibility, and informed decision-making. The Commerce Department and Placement Cell of the college jointly organized a workshop on Financial Literacy. The event was conducted under the able guidance of Mrs. Anshu Uppal, Principal, CMK College, whose support and encouragement were instrumental in the successful ex*****on of the program.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from fifty students, who engaged actively in the sessions. The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance financial awareness among students and equip them with practical knowledge of personal finance management. Mrs Sangeeta Nanda (Head of Commerce Department), Dr Manju Rathi (Convenor of Placement Cell), Dr Rachna, Dr Nisha Telanga, Dr Rama, Dr Preeti, Mrs Priyanka, Dr Nachhater, Dr Sarban, Dr Swati and Mr Robin were also present to grace the event.

Khelo India Dialogue – Khel Ki Baat PM Modi Ke Sath

C.M.K. National P.G. College, Sirsa successfully organized the live streaming of “Khelo India Dialogue – Khel Ki Baat PM Modi Ke Sath” on 27 August 2026 in the College Seminar Hall.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, staff and students from all streams, with special participation by NSS Volunteers and NCC Cadets.

The live interaction with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlighted the importance of sports, fitness, discipline, youth empowerment and the role of young citizens in nation-building.

The event was organized by MY Bharat Nodal Officer Dr. Deepika Sharma along with NSS Programme Officers Dr. Rati Tiwari and Dr. Sarban Kamboj, with the active support of Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Nachhatar, Mr. Robin and all staff members of the college. This event was created earlier on the MY Bharat Portal as well .
